Inspired by my youth in New York City, I wanted to celebrate the kids who play double dutch on the summer streets. The two boys turning the rope are twins, turning to an eternal beat. The image of the children jumping rope is hand-drawn, representing the free spirit of those who play with the simplest means and yet find so much joy in it.
