As a new arrival to New York I searched out hopelessly for a cool shirt to sport my city pride but all of them were just way too touristy. Then one day as I was riding home on the subway, half asleep, I suddenly realized just how beautiful the routes of the subway were without all the navigation information and that it even resembled an abstract profile. It would prove to be a design that reflected more of what New York really is; artistic, abstract and prideful.
